OLD PARISH PHOTOGRAPHS
in Tullow Museum

The back of this
photograph of St. Columba's Church is dated October 5th 1910.
Note the following differences between St. Columba's then and now:
- the beautifully decorated East Wall covered in
stars
- the oil lamps used to light the church
- the altar covering and the fact that it was cut down later and used on the
pulpit
- the positioning of the memorial tablet be the East Window
- the positioning of the Wolseley family brass memorial
- the "Holy, Holy, Holy" cloth at the rear of the altar

A picture postcard image of St. Columba's Church
This photograph is even older than 1910 because you
may have noticed that the East Window
is not the "Sermon on the Mount" window which was donated by the Wolseley Family
in 1908.
